Labradorite

Labradorite is the ugly duckling of gemstones; a non-descript blue-grey until the light catches the inclusions which flash blue - this is known as labradorescence, or schiller effect.

Labradorite (also known as Spectrolite) is useful to those suffering from stress, and helps to balance the metabolism. It is specifically linked with the treatment of colds, gout, high blood pressure and rheumatism, and aids the treatment of menstrual stress.
