3D Scarab Beetle earrings

These earrings comprise a pair of pewter 3D Egyptian Scarab beetles (approximately 14 x 10mm, not including the bail from which they hang) suspended from silver-plated ball post fittings.

The scarab beetle was sacred to the sun gods and, as such, a scarab amulet provided the wearer with the protection of the solar deities.
